Keeping it going with the stackable bands. I purchased several antique diamond bands on my last inventory trip to Europe because they are so versatile and wearable that they are always very popular.
In Antique 18k gold with milgrain outline topped in platinum. More of linear look to the ring face so it stacks with a nice added geometry.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
No hallmarks remain but it was sold to me as 18k and tested to confirm.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 3/4, a little over but does not reach size 7 on my mandrel. It weighs 2.5 grams.
The center diamond is 3mm. The flanking two stones are 2.8mm each and the diamonds on each end are about 2.3mm.
Exact carat weight is unknown as I would not remove the stones from the antique center but estimated total weight of around half a carat - 0.5.
Stands 3.5mm off the finger, 3.6mm north to south and 14mm east west for all five diamonds.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Typical antique diamonds that have some faint natural inclusions. The center diamond has two warm cloudy spot inclusions in one area, slightly eye visible. The flanking diamonds also with some faint natural inclusions, but nothing glaring and seen mostly under magnification. A bit of wear to a bead prong here or there but all the stones are secure and none of them move.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
