Antique .5 Carat Old Mine Cut DiAMOND 3 Stone Stacker Band Ring 18k GOLD Domed Gypsy

ABOUT:

Antique three stone band with old mine cut diamonds flush mount into the shank. I like to see the little crowns of the old mine cuts crop out of the ring face. French antique piece in 18k gold with a little outline of platinum around each bezel, totaling around half a carat total weight in diamonds.

Found in Paris with faint French hallmark for 18k gold. There are additional hallmarks inside but they are rubbed. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale. Antique box is not included.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 7 1/4. The diamonds are about 3.2 to 3.4mm give or take. I would not remove the stones for an accurate measurement but just using estimations it is almost half a carat / 0.5 carat.

The piece weighs 4.8 grams. It stands 2.8mm off the finger to the center diamond and the face is 6.5mm north to south.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre owned and in estate condition. The diamonds are eye clean with just a small wisp natural inclusion here or there seen under magnification.

The shank is sturdy, but has a bit of a blunt edge from wear. Some wear to the platinum bezels where they are a bit uneven or where the platinum is not apparent in some spots but all the stones are secure.

There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because the gold reflects its surroundings. Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
