Antique " ALWAYS YOURS " Victorian Letter Bracelet 10k Rose Gold Solid Double Chain Toujours a Toi Turquoise Clasp

Beautiful and scarce antique rosy gold bracelet with letters affixed to the double chains reading "Toujours a Toi" which is French for "always yours."

I have seen a couple of these over the years in similar style reading "Good Luck", but in the thousands of pieces of jewelry I look at every day, this is the first I have come across one with this romantic French phrase. Special piece - I love jewelry with words! A bit heartbroken that this one doesn't fit me but if it doesn't sell well, perhaps I'll convert it to a necklace for myself. It seems a shame to alter it though if someone else may love and enjoy it. :)

No hallmarks remain but tests at 10k gold with a rosy warmth. I would say this one reads as rose gold, although not the vibrant pink rose gold of today. The clasp is set with a turquoise for a pop of color.

Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
This one would be on my wrist until my dying day if it fit me. : ) And while a few links could be removed on each end, it is still too large for me. It is about 7 3/4 in length stretched end to end.
North south it is about 9mm.
It weighs 6.45 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
There is a weld on one side near the tongue of the clasp so the chain links don't quite move the same in that very small two link section and there is a slight difference in hue to the weld compared to the gold chain. If one were to work with their local jeweler, this could actually be removed, if you were to shorten it a bit on each side or remove and add links but it is sturdy and wearable as is. Some patina to the gold as expected for antique 10k gold. Some surface wear to the letters that can catch the light due to the mirrored finish.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
