Antique BLOODSTONE Rose Cut DIAMOND Inlay Reversible Fob Locket Pendant 18k Gold on GF Chain Green Two Sided Chunky Chubby Victorian

This Victorian beauty is wonderful in a neckstack because it's reversible design and chubby depth makes it interesting at all angles.

Crafted in 18k gold with ornate engravings around the scalloped edge, this locket has a nice size bezel set bloodstone on each side. The back side bezel setting flips down to open to reveal the locket compartment which has a nice depth to it. The front side bloodstone is inset with a rose cut diamond for added antique sparkle.

No hallmarks but tests at 18k. Comes as pictured on an antique gold filled chain - the chain is not solid gold but it came with it and it looks nice, with the interesting antique links, so I decided to sell it as I received it.

Found in France. The tariffs and shipping added up more than usual on this one so I am selling it for what I paid for it. The ins and outs of importing! : /

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 11.6 grams but no idea of the actual gold weight as the stones on each side carry the majority of it and the chain is gold filled. The halo of 18k has vacant space inside like repousse work.

30mm to the top of the attached loop (not the dangling loop) by 26mm by 13mm deep.
Chain is 17.5 inches long.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The stones on each side are in good shape with no major damage and a lovely sheen and polish. There are impressions to the outside rim of the scalloped gold setting to three of the lobes giving it a rippled appearance from the side. When facing up, only one appears slightly out of round but it closes securely, functions well and is certainly wearable for another 100 years.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
