ABOUT:
Such a fun design on this sturdy antique ring with wonderful movement. The crossover bypass pattern of the shank flanks three old mine cut diamonds. The settings are set at an angle and are square but oriented as a diamond giving the piece a wonderful geometry.
Crafted in 18k gold with the diamond settings topped in platinum, the piece has a sturdy hand feel and adds a unique design to a ringstack.
Three stone rings are currently popular, sometimes said to represent past, present and future, or just for love of the design with the nice sparkle and finger coverage.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 9 1/4
The ring face is 8.9mm north south.
The ring weight is 4.25 grams.
The center diamond is about 4mm and the flanking stones are abut 3.2mm.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The stones have a nice chunky sparkle and are quite lively, but they do have natural inclusions typical for the period, all appearing quite frosty but with no dark or glaring carbon. One end stone has an indented natural inclusion where the inclusion carried to the surface and left a crevice. The sparkle hides it and the stone appears complete full in the setting so you have to study it to seek it out. A sturdy piece ready for regular wear.
Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : ) There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings including the green trees out the window.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
