ABOUT:
We love a halo ring and wow the striking green color on this emerald at center! It is surrounded by a halo of bright and sparkly old cut diamonds, most old mine cut, a few are more transitional and all appear original to the piece.

Found in Paris, the ring is crafted in 18k gold with the diamond settings topped in silver. French hallmarks for both on the back of the shank.

The ring face reads rectangular in shape for a nice geometry with that amazing pop of color and the diamonds are lively with a nice bright sparkle as well. Jumps out in a stack but substantial enough to wear alone as well.

Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Feel free to check my website or request more photos or video as I have many besides those allowed here.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 6 1/4. Weight is 3.6 grams. The ring face is 11.6x12.2mm. It stands 6.6mm off the finger. The emerald is 5x5.9mm and the eight diamonds are each about 3mm give or take. I would not remove them for exact weight but estimates to about 3/4 carat total weight in diamonds alone.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Stable setting with good prongs showing a bit of wear here and there but holding everything firmly. Three diamonds have a shallow flake of loss leaving a frosty spot that is not really eye visible and all the stones appear complete and round, filling the settings. Some faint natural inclusions, mostly specks or a bit of frost here or there. They are typical antique diamonds with quirks having been cut in much more limited supply so they tend to often look this way. Lively and sparkle. The emerald has some natural inclusions within that appear as cloudy specks but is not overall milky with a bold and vibrant deeper green color. A worn prong here or there to keep an eye on over time. Very little wear to the emerald so overall a better sheen and polish than we often find from the period.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
