Dainty Antique Five Stone Old Mine Cut Diamond 18k White Gold Platinum Tall Skinny Band Romantic Gift Wedding Stacker Ringstack OMC

These skinny diamond bands are fun to mix and match and layer. Could also be worn alone as a minimalist statement.

This one has a bit of height to it propping the five little diamonds up in prongs, so it's fun to layer with other diamond bands or gold ones in a stack.

Found in Sweden, I couldn't make out the hallmarks except for the Swedish partial symbol stamp for 18k but sold to me as 18k white gold and platinum.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
It is a size 5 1/4. It weighs 2.15 grams.
The diamonds are each 2.7 to 3.2mm each for a total estimated carat weight of about 0.4 carat. Depths vary and I would never remove them from the antique setting for an exact carat weight, so this is an estimate.

The ring face is 3.4mm wide north to the south on the finger and it stands 5mm tall off the finger. The five diamonds span about 15mm across the finger.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The shank is very thin at the back so it is priced accordingly for all these things:
Typical antique diamonds, they all have inclusions that are eye visible to slightly eye visible appearing a bit frosty overall. One end stone has a chip of loss under the prong leaving an unpolished area but the stone still appears complete and round, not really eye visible. These were hand cut in much more limited supply long before the Four C's was invented and much attention was paid to such things. The stones are not huge so it is still a pretty ring but when studying it you will note these inclusions. Some of this is due to build up in the setting, difficult to reach to really thoroughly clean. The diamonds have a lovely antique look with varying warm white to gray hues. A worn prong here or there including two that are completely worn back, but each stone is still well held. Just recommend gentler wear as appropriate and typical for age.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
