ABOUT:
This is a personal collection release to make room for some other pieces (crying face emoji). Glittery encrusted French Belle Epoque antique ring totaling a little over 1 carat in old mine cut diamonds. The back of the ring face is open so it makes cleaning easier and less to fret about when it comes to getting it wet compared to a foiled / closed back diamond ring. The shank is sturdy, in warm rosy 18k antique gold with the ring face in platinum as was customary for the time to set the stones in a white metal.
I love these clusters when you look at them from a side angle and see the chunkier old cuts cropping out of the ring face.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6. The ring face is 19x9mm. It weighs 4.6g. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and photos can be hard to tell scale.
Two larger center diamonds at about 3.8mm, with the others around 2.3mm give or take. I do not know the exact total carat weight as they have varying depths, and I would never remove them from the setting to measure exactly. But just using honesty, online estimates and calculators, I get over 1 full carat in diamonds.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. There is a bit of wear to the prongs typical for a piece of this age but none of the stones move. A few of the diamonds have some nicks and nibbles, this is not noticeable while wearing and seen only if you study the surface up close in a reflection, all the stones appear complete to the eye. Typical antique diamonds with some light natural inclusions, but these are not easily detected by the eye.
A bit of organic surface wear to the gold but shank still looks great, sturdy with a wonderful patina. Fun piece to wear as it is so sparkly! But Due to age - please note this is not a mint condition item.
