ABOUT:
Sparkly antique French halo ring with vibrant pink center synthetic ruby, a very popular choice for this period. It is surrounded by a halo of 14 rose cut diamonds. The ring is in 18k white gold and platinum with lovely coloring and accented by milgrain details around the halo and ruby bezel. The piece has wonderful color and sparkle. Small size, would be a great pinky ring.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 4 1/2 - best to discuss sizing options with your local jeweler who would be doing the work, as opinions vary when working on antiques.
Ring face: 11mm north south, the ruby is 6mm and the diamonds are about 1.5mm each.
Weight: 3g.
CONDITION NOTES:
Just a few tiny nibbles under magnification to the ruby.
Typical antique rose cuts with some frosty spots from natural inclusions and rough / unpolished edges / frosted girdles. None of the stones move, but I always recommend gentler wear on 100 year old pieces with many small stones (the same way I would on machine made vintage pieces that often lose more stones than antiques in my experience). Evidence of a sizing to the back.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
