ABOUT:
This is a personal collection release that I enjoyed because I absolutely love jewelry with words. This one makes the sweetest stacker with its rich 23k gold fabrication that gives it such wonderful true gold coloring, with a bit of warmth from the antique patina we so desire.
Then hand engraved with the word ""Minne" on the front, this is Swedish for "Memory" - used similar to the many "Souvenir" or "Recuerdo" pieces we see in the market to commemorate a place or event or date - to let someone know you are thinking of them. Additional engravings extend from to the shoulders.
Full Swedish hallmarks with the date stamp for the year 1860 when this was made. I love the provenance of a good hallmark and engraving! And amazing quality as well being crafted in 96% pure / solid gold.
Minimalist to wear alone or to add a rich gold glow to a ringstack. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from the pics.
Antique boxes, props, dishes, mice ; ) not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 3/4. The piece weighs 3.4g. 3.1mm north to south by 1.7mm thick / deep.
Still perfectly wearable and perfectly shaped. Just a few nicks and surface wear that can catch the light due to the sleek mirrored finish. There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny that it reflects its surroundings.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
