ABOUT:
Ever popular daisy cluster ring with bright and sparkly antique old mine cut diamonds.
This all original French antique was found in Paris and is a beauty to wear with the collection of old hand cut diamonds well set as a grouping for maximum sparkle. This is a classic French design from the antique period with the knife edge shank, the raised shoulders holding additional little diamonds for sparkle. Mwah! C'est magnifique! Total carat weight with all 11 stones is about 1.8 carat.

French hallmarks for 18k gold and silver, the diamonds are set in silver as is customary for the period to set diamonds in a white metal so just the prongs are as such. The rest of the piece reads a lovely warm and rosy gold. I actually thought the top was platinum because it is nice and bright so the piece looks great, super flashy and lively.
Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 4 3/4. Should be sizable to an extent as the prongs are good, usually they say within 2 sizes is a good guide as to what is doable but best to check with your local jeweler who would be doing the work to determine their comfort level.
It weighs 2.7 grams.
The center diamond is about 5.1x5mm and a chunky cut measuring about .67 carat alone.
Surrounding diamonds are about 3.1 give or take and the shoulder diamonds are 2.2mm. Total carat weight is around 1.8 carat all together.
This is an estimate as I would not remove the stones for an exact measurement.
The ring face is 11.5 mm north south and 6mm tall off the finger.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
A worn prong here are there including one outside prong that is worn back but the diamonds are held on the inside edge and on the corners as well so none of the stones move. A bit of wear to the center prongs but it is also very well surrounded and secure.
These diamonds are better than most for the period with several being eye clean including the largest one at center. Under magnification there are a few tiny speck inclusions but these are not seen by the eye. No really large inky spots. Wonderful antique diamonds in their all original settings and these are quite bright and white. They don't read as warm or yellow when wearing. No chips to any of the stones so this is a fine example from the antique period.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still wearable.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
