Antique Natural Sapphire Rose Cut Diamond Three Stone Ring Skinny Band 18k Gold Square Geometric Stacker

This one stacks with pretty much everything! Geometry, sparkle and color - this easy to wear skinny band has all that amidst the glowing 18k gold setting, which has a bit of height for layering if desired.

Center square cut natural sapphire is flanked by a rose cut diamond on each side. Found in Florence, Italy.

It has hallmarks inside but I can't decipher them. One does have the shape of the gold hallmark for Italy though.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5 1/4.

The 21 emeralds each measure about 2.4 to 2.9mm with the larger sized ones towards the center. It's at least 1.25 carat total weight in emeralds just using a 2.5mm average, but this is an estimate as you'd have to remove them and put them on a scale for exact weight.

The ring face is 4.7mm north to south and stands 3mm off the finger. It weighs 1.9 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical sapphire with some natural rutile needle inclusions, I actually enjoy finding these because they can reflect the light and enhance the color from within. The rose cuts are rougher with unpolished and frosty areas, one has an inclusion that carries up to the surface leaving an unpolished area so they do appear a bit frosty. Under strong magnification only I can see a tiny seam of adhesive behind the sapphire. This is not visible when wearing and does not affect the stone. The prongs are dainty but actually hold the stone well. I think it was a case where it must have moved or clicked slightly in the setting so the tiniest bit of adhesive was used to hold it still? Just my guess. Sold as is.

Please also note that I take some photos in the sunshine to highlight the color but this can also magnify any surface wear, inclusions etc. more than what is seen with normal day to day wear.
