I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
I love the light and airiness design of this diamond bracelet, the skinny oval hinged bangle accented by five little diamonds popping out in prong settings. They look like little stars draped across the wrist. Four of the stones are old cut - European and mine, one is an older brilliant cut and likely a replacement.
I got this in the UK on my recent sourcing trip there. It's a Victorian antique piece but with an elegant and classic design. Could be minimalist worn alone, or added to a stack. It's pretty dressed up or down. And it works well on a daintier wrist compared to many of my bangles that are larger in size.
Couldn't find any hallmarks but sold to me as 15k and tested to confirm. Please note the measurements as I have small hands.
MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 6.3 grams.
It is about 6.5 inches around the inside with a tape measure wrapped within it the best I can do (this is an estimate as I can't get the tape exactly nested). Inside dimensions are 60mm by 47mm if I measure the distance across the opening in each direction, if you want to compare that to some of your other bangles. I have a 5 1/2 inch wrist and it is a bit too large for me but it does not slide off my hand without opening. It's just that it can spin around my wrist so it would be better on a larger wrist or I could definitely wear it stacked with other pieces. And with the safety chain, it opens to slide over a larger wrist.
The diamonds measure 4.4x4.2mm for the largest at center, 3, 3.1, 2.7 and 3mm. Total carat weight is around 0.7 carat as the diamonds aren't large and there are just five of them for a glint of sparkle.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The diamonds are a bit frosty with some natural speck inclusions. One has a little carbon spot but it is not super glaring. One of the smaller stones is a replacement brilliant cut with a notch in the girdle and a flake of loss to the underside edge which also appears frosty / unpolished but is not glaring.
The bangle itself is in great condition with a super springy and snappy clasp compared to many that are weak or dinged. There is one little ribbed band of gold in one spot but does not appear to be a repair so perhaps it is a join mark that was done in the making as it is super tidy and the patina all matches. Some darker patina around the diamond settings that could be cleaned up if desired but most of my buyers prefer original patina. A worn prong but all stones are really well surrounded so it's ready for regular wear.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).
Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
