ABOUT:
My lovely lovelies always love these!
Stackable antique five stone diamond band.
This one has five old mine cut stones in a slightly boat shaped face, slightly propped up to show the scrolling details at each vertical edge but curves over the top of the finger. Beautiful to layer and stack.
Found in England but the hallmarks are worn. Sold to me as 18k and tested.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
Antique box not included.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 7
The ring face is 5mm north south. It stands 4mm tall off the finger and from diamond to diamond is 16mm. I don't remove my antique stones from their settings but probably a little under one full carat?
It weighs 3.1g.
The center diamond is about 4.8mm, the next pair are 3.5-3.7mm and the end stones are about 2.7mm.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique diamonds, they each have some faint natural inclusions, a some small icy natural inclusion or single carbon speck here or there. A bit of frostiness to the smallest ends stones. Nothing glaring but they are not all eye clean. Slightly varying degrees of warmth also typical for antique diamonds but again they are each individually (aside from the center stone) on the smaller side so they just add a nice glint of sparkle to this skinny ornate stacker.
The prongs look good so it is ready for wear. No chips or cracks or damage to any of the stones. A little build up, I gave it a light cleaning but could use a little more gentle soak and scrub.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
I enjoy making my customers happy and matching unique pieces with new homes. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! It means a lot to me that you are visiting my shop! : )
