ABOUT:
Such a sweetie! This daisy cluster has some fun little details with its scalloped outline, and the center bezel set diamond which appears almost suspended with the open work between itself and the outlining halo. Lovely sparkle with milgrain detail around the center halo giving the piece some geometry too. The diamonds are held with little bead prongs, the center being bezel set and slightly raised, but still smooth and comfortable to wear.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold. There is another faint hallmark on the inside as well.

Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from photos.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 8 1/4. The ring face is 12mm in diameter. It stands 4.7mm off the finger. It weighs 2.9 grams.

The center diamond is about 3.2mm. The rest are about 3mm each give or take, for a total carat weight of around 1.1 carat. Note - exact depths in the setting are unknown as I would never remove them so this is an estimation.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical antique diamonds with some natural inclusions. The center diamond has some small carbon spots, eye visible if you are seeking them out but not glaring. The diamonds to the east and west of the center both have some quirks. One is quite frosty where it is included almost throughout, the other has an inclusion to one side that weakened the area and lead to a triangular area with shallow shards of loss leaving an unpolished finish on that area of the stone. The stone is still stable and fills the bezel and space so to the eye it appears round, but if you study the surface you can see the loss and the unpolished area. Slightly varying hues with some warmth to a few of them but it is by no means a lifeless piece. Some areas of the bezels are uneven, especially around the outside edge where there are some gaps and loss to the gold holding the edge of the stone, but they are small gaps with the stones being held still well on the sides. None of the stones move but you can see the wear related to its age. It is still stable and wearable!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
