ABOUT:
This one has its quirks but still - Such a sweetie! This daisy cluster has a daisy ring face, and the center bezel set diamond is slightly raised the outlining halo. Lovely sparkle with milgrain detail around the center halo. Low profile / smooth setting that is comfortable to wear and stack.
Found in England, stamped 18CT for 18k gold.
Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from photos.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 9 1/4. The ring face is 9mm in diameter. It stands 4.6mm off the finger. It weighs 2.4 grams.
The center diamond is about 3mm. The rest are about 2mm each give or take, for a total carat weight of almost half a carat. Note - exact depths in the setting are unknown as I would never remove them so this is an estimation.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The center diamond has a chip on one side. It is still round and complete in the bezel but when you study the surface you can see the unpolished frosty surface along a few of the outside facets in one area.
Typical antique diamonds with some natural inclusions. Several appear quite frosty but they are small. No dark or glaring carbon spots. Also typical that they vary slightly hue. None of the stones move but you can see the wear related to its age. It is still stable and wearable! And really most of what is mentioned is not overly glaring while wearing, but seen more when studying the piece. Still a cute footprint and nice sparkle, just pointing out everything seen under magnification as this one is being sold as is.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
