ABOUT:
I love enamel jewelry! This one has the most striking pop of color with the domed and slightly flared ring face covered in robin's egg blue enamel. At the center is a gold star engraved bezel. It is set with a little old mine cut diamond. The enamel covers the top half of the ring extending to each shoulder, it really adds to a ring stack.
Antique piece found in Paris from the Victorian period. I originally thought this would make a rad pinky ring but then I happened to stack it with my chunky gold Tiffany band while I was photographing and loved that look too!
French hallmark for 18k gold.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 6 1/4
Ring face: 7.6mm north south.
2.8mm tall off the finger. The diamond is small, about 2.5mm.
Weight: 3g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Some loss to the enamel at the very end points at each shoulder but this is mostly hidden by the adjacent finger when wearing, it likely occurred from rubbing against rings worn on the fingers to each side. Some surface wear to the other enamel but appears complete in color aside from the shoulders. Love diamond.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
