ABOUT:
Ornate antique gypsy ring holding a quarter carat old mine cut diamond in a glowing 15k gold setting. Beautiful swirling details to the top half of the shank with the diamond propped up front and center.
Beautiful worn alone and also layers well with others pieces. Found in England with old 15CT hallmark inside for 15k gold.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 6 3/4.
Ring face: 6.3mm north south and 2.8mm tall off the finger.
Weight: 3.1g.
The diamond measures 3.8mm measuring the visible portion with an estimated weight of about .25 carat, I would not remove the diamond for an exact measurement.
CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique diamond with some small natural carbon feather inclusions in one area to one side of the table facet within the stone. They are small and about four of them, slightly eye visible but it is not a huge stone so it is not glaringly obvious. Beautiful setting with lovely gold work, a bright white color and nice sparkle to the diamond.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
