Art Deco ANTIQUE Black Onyx Rose Cut Diamond Plaque Ring 18k Gold Bezel Set Blush RC Inlay Platform

I've been getting requests to carry more onyx, particularly these with rose cut diamonds and a great geometry. So when I found this one in France, I grabbed it for the shop.

This onyx plaque ring has rose cut diamonds above and below and at center is a larger rose cut, bezel set in a closed back setting. Nice reflectivity and sparkle. The rose cut diamond has a beautiful blush hue from age to the foil back. Ornate openwork scrolling details to the gallery so plenty of fun details. A lovely antique ring from the Art Deco period.

A bold color with the black onyx and adds a striking shape to a ringstack. French hallmark for 18k gold to the back.

Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 9.
The ring face is about 18x11mm. The rose cut is about 4.6mm in diameter so faces up at about .4 carat alone (exact depth and thereby carat weight is unknown). Weight of the ring is 3.4 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
One edge of the onyx has some chips to the underside in one area. It faces up mostly complete but you can see it if you are seeking it out.

Typical antique diamonds with some frosty spots and rough edges. The center stone has some natural inclusions but more seen is the bit of spotting from age to the foil back. Wonderful hue though and still a nice sparkle. The other diamonds also have some rough edges, likely were always cut the way as they are very small and tend to always look like this.
Is it just me or does the ring face list slightly to one side? Nothing glaring but at some angles I thought I noticed that. Shank is on the thinner side from age on this one.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
