ABOUT:
Mercy me, I have had this one since I went to Sweden on a sourcing trip last year and despite multiple notes after previewing it, it has taken me Forever to get around to the listing! My apologies.

A classic three stone with a punch of color. Here we have an Art Deco beauty crafted in 18k white gold with center natural carre cut emerald, flanked by an old mine cut diamond on each side. Wonderful color and sparkle with a nice geometry to it, the stones set in square milgrain bezels.

It's as beautiful from the side as well, where we can see the scrolled filigree details in the gallery of the ring. This adds the perfect height for stacking.

Found in Sweden with their hallmarks for 18k gold, the maker K & E Carlson of Gothenburg, the year 1942. Hip Hip Hooray for detailed hallmarks that give us an immediate provenance to the piece!

Antique box / props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:

Size 7
Weight is 2.3 grams
5.4mm north south
5mm tall off the finger
I was told the emerald is about .62 carat. It is about 5.1mm. The diamonds are about 3mm each, sold to me as .16 carat each.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Overall better than most condition with a nice sheen and polish to the emerald which also has a good clarity and does not appear overly milky. Its common inclusions are more faint swirls within. It has just two tiny specks from inclusions carrying up to the surface which are natural characteristics of the stone. Often we see emeralds of this age quite dull and abraided but not the case here. Typical antique diamonds with faint speck inclusions under magnification, nothing glaring or eye visible.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
