ABOUT:
This is a personal collection release - I love antique moonstones and I love Art Nouveau jewelry. I tend to rotate my collection out quite often to keep just a wearable number so while this is a great quality piece with amazing detail, it is looking for a new home!
Ah the magical glow of a great blue moonstone. And this one is not to be outdone by its detailed setting - those sweet flowers on the vertical edges of the ring face! The detailed woman's faces on each shoulder with hair flowing down the shank. With a textured matte finish to the recesses, I love gold work like this. Just a beautiful and complex design leading up to the glossy moonstone that is propped up a bit like a shiny orb.
This is a good blue one! You'll notice some differences in the image when it comes to the intensity of the blue "schiller" which is the case with all moonstones. The schiller/adularescence effect is directional, meaning it is stronger when viewed from specific angles.
Stamped 14k inside.
Antique box / props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Wonderful sheen and polish to the moonstone. Some wear to the nose, mouth and chin and the raised parts of the flowers where it has a slightly different patina compared to the matte textured recesses but still very crisp and legible. No major condition issues.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
