ABOUT:
A unique and interesting diamond solitaire ring with a .6 carat old mine cut diamond that is eye clean! Adding to that, it displays an exceptional fire making this a special old cut stone. It's always fun to find special diamonds but the highlight for me on this piece is the interesting setting with the beveled panels all around the shank giving it a great geometry. Rich antique 18k gold setting that has warm to very slightly rosy hues from age and patina.
The prongs are in excellent shape making this one ready for daily wear with no damage to the stone - the condition report on this one is certainly clean, again sought after considering age.
This antique piece was also engraved / personalized at one time. It has worn but reads "Ed to....." with the names of the couple inside. Love this one!

Size 5 3/4.
The diamond is about 5mm cushion cut. I purchased it from an estate jeweler who estimated it at .6 carat (without removing the stone.)
The piece weighs a little over 3 grams. It stands 6.1mm off the finger.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Not even a nibble to the diamond. Also uncommon for antique diamonds, it is eye clean and very bright and fiery. The unique shank is very sturdy. No worn prongs so the diamond does not budge. It is ready for daily wear. Surface wear to the gold expected for age but this is a fine piece in excellent condition considering age.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
