ABOUT:
I should have gotten these up in time for Halloween but I actually think these would make a really fun statement for the holidays as well. They could definitely work for a New Year's celebration. A bold faceted disco ball dangles from each ear wire - perfect with that little black dress or a pair of jeans.
These were sold to me as onyx. They are definitely not resin or plastic but to be honest, I don't have a test to differentiate onyx from jet. But a sturdy hand feel with no chips.
The ear wires are in quality antique gold fill and have a lovely rosy hue.
Antique pair from the Victorian period, at the time would have been used in mourning.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
24mm from top of earwire to bottom of dangle. The disco balls are 13.5mm in diameter.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
A tiny bit of wear to the gold fill seen only under strong magnification at the very tips. Note the dangles are affixed in the middle of the earwire. This is their original and intentional fabrication, with the latched ends pointing backwards.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
