Meanwhile... Sorrows, tears, sorrows, tears... - I still love each and every one of these, but I just don't get around to wearing them all enough and we have other needs right now so I'm hoping to re-home them where they can be loved and enjoyed. : )
I also try to keep my PC pretty humble so as I add things throughout the years, every so often I do a big clear out and these are some of my all time faves - figurals, some with secrets, dates, all have meaning to me so they will be sent to the buyer with all my love and joy and happy memories : )

ABOUT:

Here's another uncommon one from my personal collection. A figural tree branch band / ring in 14k gold with applied leaf set with rose cut diamonds. Beautiful engravings all the way around.

It kind of looks like an oak leaf to me? I love figural jewelry and this one held symbolism as well. Crafted in the Victorian era, those clever fabricators of amazing jewelry often used themes of nature. In this case, wood and branches often symbolized themes of mourning, eternal love, fidelity, and also strength. The oak leaf also represented strength, growth, power, longevity, etc.

This one is not personalized, but back in the day, it would have had a small section of braided hair at the center, which the gold work would swirl around, leaving the open windows to view the hair. There was no hair in it when I purchased it for my collection, I just thought it was interesting to look at.

Crafted in 14k gold, it is like a round tube so the inside slides on like a comfort fit donut band with the rounded inside edges. The outside still has the visible open windows that now just reveal the gold within the setting but it is quite a sturdy piece, not thin, tinny feeling or flexible.

There are some remnants of robin's egg blue enamel at the base of the leaf but it appears mostly gold now.

No hallmarks remain as it was clearly a custom made piece but tests at 14k gold.

Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 1/4, a little over.

The ring face is about 7mm north south. It stands off the finger at 4mm. Weight is 2.5 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Loss to the original enamel. Typical antique diamonds read a bit gray in the closed back setting. Really nice condition to the gold with no ripples, dings or dents.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
