ABOUT:
It's all about the details with this one. Color, sparkle, geometry and engraved patterns. If you know me, you know I grabbed with one for the champagne hue of the center diamond. It's subtle since it isn't a huge stone but I love old cuts with hues. It sits front and center of the domed setting amidst all the other amazing details:
Open work cutouts
Triangle sapphires
Leaf and wheat pattern engravings around all sides including the vertical edges.
This one is interesting from every angle.
Stamped 18k inside.
Antique box is not included.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5.5, a bit snug
The ring face is about 9.3mm north south and 5.2mm tall off the finger.
The piece weighs 3.3 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Some nicks to the sapphires under magnification. Shank has worn a bit thin at the back. Center champagne stone is eye clean. Varying hues to the smaller old single cut diamonds that are set into the east west sides but they are small so there is nothing really noticeable without magnification.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
