CHEVRON Wedding SET 2 Band Antique Old European Cut DIAMOND Art Deco Skinny & Solitaire Stacker Rings 14k Gold

This wedding set is among my top ten favorite pieces in the entire shop right now. I'm not in the market to keep any personal collection pieces right now but I just love this one and have never seen another set like it.

This antique wedding set from the Edwardian to Art Deco era has such a unique, fun and timeless design. The diamond is an Old European Cut held in sturdy prongs with the gold of the ring face peaking up and around the stone for a great geometry. But to add to the fun we have the original wedding band which is also peaked with a triangle cutout and nests perfectly against the solitaire ring.

This original antique set is ready for every day wear and is a true two for one! Because each piece is interesting and on trend to wear on its own as a dainty geometric piece, but each are also fun to wear layered with other pieces, worn on separate fingers or stacked in various ways. The chevron band of course nests perfectly next to the solitaire, but it is also fun to reverse it so the two points touch and allows space between the two bands as well.

The sleek gold glows and it is interesting from all angles with the pointed tops to the gold bands.

It is stamped on the inside 14k, with a maker's initial stamp.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pics.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5 3/4 when nested together. The solitaire is a bit larger at a size 6 when alone on the mandrel. The old European cut diamond is 3.2mm in diameter. The set weighs 3.6g. Dainty pieces. When nested together, the ring face is 7.4mm north south and 5.6mm tall of the finger.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical old cut diamond with some natural frosty inclusions and a warmth to the stone. It has a nice sparkle and the stone is small so nothing glaring. Great to see the prongs ready for every day wear.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
