Back from my summer inventory trips to several countries / cities in Europe. I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:
A unique and chunky cluster ring! I love the old mine cut diamonds in this one with a handful having that delicious pale yellow color (my favorite) and with the setting, an overall lovely warm glow.

This one is unique because the ring face is a sort of cushioned square, almost cruciform or diamond shaped in how the stones are situated, compared to the more common design of having them clustered in a circle. There are larger stones at the center and the north, south, east and west points, with slightly smaller diamonds spacing in between for an almost starburst effect.

I got this one in Amsterdam but we both thought it looks like a British piece. No hallmarks remain but sold to me as 15k and does hold strong a 14k test (I don't have a 15k test as the U.S. kits don't make them.)

Antique boxes, props, mice, dishes ; ) not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:

Size 4 1/2.

Ring face is 13mm north south. It weighs a sturdy 3.9 grams.

The center diamond and the four on each corner are about 3.5mm cushion cut each, varying depths but overall quite chunky cuts measuring .18 to .22 carat each. The four smaller diamonds in between are about 2.5 to 2.7mm each. I would not remove the stones for exact measurements but estimates to around 1.2 carat total weight in diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
A few areas of wear to the gold setting. It looks to me like some of the prongs were reinforced with more length to some of the outside ones, but the four smaller stones show more wear around the outside. I pretty much always recommend gentler wear on my antique pieces with multiple stones. Gorgeous warm white to pale yellow hues to the diamonds. The diamonds seem to vary in hue based on the lighting. Hopefully the pics in all lighting conditions help show how the piece reacts, the yellow hues of some of them brighten in sunlight. What wonderful antique stones!

Typical antique diamonds with some faint natural inclusions. Some are eye clean, one has an icy crystal inclusion through the center, the others smaller frosty specks here or there that can catch the light. No dark carbon or anything glaring.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

I would be delighted if you'd follow me in my shop. Thanks for stopping by!
