Chunky 19g 18k GOLD Solid Rolo Belcher Link Sturdy Vintage Chain 18" Necklace Wide Chunky Retro Layering XL Spring Ring

As I type this I am zipping across Sweden in a high speed train! I'm on my next jewelry sourcing adventure and my mom is traveling alongside me. This chain is from a previous trip but I had studied it and assembled the details before leaving America so I thought I'd work on the listing while I have some down time on the train. (Technology these days, amirite?)

Substantial vintage chain that has a wonderful shimmer and glow!

This versatile vintage piece is in 18k yellow gold with a large, decorative spring ring and round rolo / belcher links. The links are graduating in size where the links graduate larger in size towards the middle.

This piece is crafted 18k solid gold (not plated or gold filled), which has a buttery glow. It is in really nice condition with no dings or bends or ripples! As is common, the piece is crafted with vacant space in the center of the links where the gold creating the links meets at a seam inside the center.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold (which is partial but recognizable to me), and overlaps a goldsmith stamp.

Antique boxes / items in displays in photos are not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

MEASUREMENTS:

It weighs a sturdy 18.9g. Stretched end to end it's a little over 18 inches. The yellow gold chain links are 7mm gauge measuring the larger towards the center graduating down to 3.7mm towards the ends.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The links are quite sturdy, not tinny or flimsy feeling. There are no dings or dents to the gold even though the piece was clearly worn over the vintage period. Just surface wear and scratches that can catch the light due to the glowing, shiny mirrored finish, Lovely color.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
