ABOUT:
I recently took an inventory trip to France and purchased several vintage and antique chains. In solid 18k gold, they are beautiful to layer and stack, and also make an interesting minimalist or geometric statement worn alone.
Beautiful French antique necklace in 18k yellow gold. This one has oval tube like links that are crossed to make a 3D link. Shorter length, may have been a watch chain. Substantial enough to wear alone but also interesting geometry to layer with the shorter length. Really beautiful buttery patina and chunky design.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 8.8 grams. It is a shorter chain, great for layering, and measures 15.5 inches stretched end to end. The long links are each 17mm wide not including the adjacent loops by 4.4mm gauge.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
One links misshapen with a slight curve too the oval. I suspect the tube links might be hollow? Sturdy hand feel but not super heavy like I imagine it would be if they were solid all the way through?
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
