ABOUT:
Rare, wonderful and romantic antique Tiffany & Co. wedding band. This one is exceptional when it comes to thickness and has a nice heft.
This is a release from my personal collection, I always enjoyed how fancy it felt to slide on the finger. The luxurious glow of the 22k gold, and the comfort fit shank - I always enjoyed rolling it around on my finger. It almost wears like a donut ring with the chubby curved top but would technically be considered a D ring - the soft edges are just delightful.
Lovely piece that will likely only go up in value as Tiffany & Co antique rings of this weight and quality don't come up very often.
Size 4 1/4. It is 3.6mm north south on the finger and the D shaped ring is 2.2mm thick / deep so quite a lot of antique gold. It weighs 6.4 grams. Would be beautiful in a ring stack, as a pinky ring or as a special wedding or anniversary band.
MARKS:
Stamped with the antique curved Tiffany & Co. hallmark inside the band. And then 22 stamped to indicate 22k gold.
CONDITION:
VERY sturdy piece because the band is so thick. It was scratch tested (not by me!) on one edge which you can look for in pics. This will wear over time, especially with soft 22k gold. That in no way makes the piece fragile as it has a thick amount of gold keeping it perfectly round but just something you can see on the edge if you study it. I still wear the piece regularly so it may even be softened by the time it sells. Aside from that - It is still perfectly shaped with just a bit of surface wear.
Still a striking piece by a favorite and collectible maker. But due to age, please note this is not a mint condition item. Still many years left in this old beauty.
