Love this one!
A timeless and substantial vintage stacker with antique Peruzzi and old mine cut diamonds set in a line. The center stone is eye clean in a raised demi bezel. The additional four stones on each side have exceptionally high crowns with wonderful, tall and triangular scissor cuts. While the diamonds are antique with a wonderful hand chiseled look, the setting is later, vintage era with substantial hand feel in glowing 18k yellow gold.
Wonderful geometry to this combo gypsy / nine stone / linear band ring. I love looking at the stones from the side to see their chunky cuts - adds a nice texture to the piece.
I could actually see this one as a wedding ring. It layers really well but is substantial and interesting to wear alone. The design to me kind of spans all periods but it has a retro vibe - it is a vintage ring that was possibly designed to incorporate the antique old mine cut diamond that may have been from granny's ring or another heirloom family piece? But certainly a timeless and wearable piece! Certainly custom made and one of a kind!
Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold and a maker's stamp.
Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

north south measurement: 11.4mm
depth / Height off the finger: 5mm to top of the crown of center diamond.
The center diamond is about 4.3mm square, extending an unknown amount in the partial bezels with a nice high crowns / chunky cut - it measures over half a carat alone. The diamonds on each side measure 2.3 to 2.5mm each. I would not remove the stones from the setting for an exact carat weight and it was difficult to get accurate measurements with the channel setting overlapping the stones but estimates to over one carat total weight in diamonds.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique diamonds - the center is eye clean with just the faintest linear needle inclusions seen under lit magnification. The side diamonds are almost mostly eye clean with just some very slightly eye visible crystal, needle or speck inclusions here or there. One has a warm linear silk inclusion that is slightly eye visible. A tiny nibble here or there not really eye visible but seen under magnification.
Really nice fire and sparkle to the diamonds, as the videos were taken in filtered sun and not my best lighting. Very sturdy setting.
Surface wear as expected. There are no dark or green or discolored spots to the gold, it's just the gold that reflects its surroundings including trees outside the window. Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
