A timeless and substantial vintage to antique five stone stacker. This one has a sturdy footprint on the finger with gorgeous 18k gold buttery glow and five old cut diamonds. The center stone is an eye clean and a fabulously chunky .7 carat old mine cut diamond with amazing Kozibe effect, flush set and cropping out of the ring face. While the diamond is antique with a wonderful hand chiseled look, the setting is likely later, vintage era to Art Deco.

Wonderful geometry to this combo gypsy five stone cigar band ring. Ready for regular wear as it's a sturdy one weighing 8.2 grams in solid gold! With a nice unisex design and the ring face thickening for some height off the finger which adds to its stackability. Substantial enough to wear alone as well.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold at the back and a goldsmith stamp.

I could actually see this one as a wedding ring. It layers really well but is substantial and interesting to wear alone. The design to me kind of spans all periods but it has a retro vibe - possibly designed to incorporate the antique old mine cut diamond that may have been from granny's ring or another heirloom family piece? But certainly a timeless and wearable piece! The shank remains wide all the way around but tapers towards the back a bit for comfort.

Antique box / props, mice ; ) etc. not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 7 3/4, weight 8.2 grams. Ring face is 5.9mm north south and 5.6mm tall off the finger.
The center diamond is a chunky cut 5.3mm measuring about 0.7 carat alone. The next pair are 2.6mm and the end stones 2.2mm. I would not remove them for exact measurements but estimates to a little over .9 carat total weight in diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The center stone is eye clean with an awesome kozibe effect reflection around the stone. It has one indented natural inclusion along one edge the girdle and one small frosty circular flake of loss just above the girdle tucked up against the gold setting. Neither of these are eye visible. The smaller stones are typical old cuts with some faint natural inclusions, a bit of a frosty appearance but they are small so it is not glaring. On one side, both of the two smaller diamonds have some tiny chips to one edge making the edge a bit uneven but again this is seen more under magnification because they are small. They still appear complete and round and fill the space. One end stone reads a little more gray, in part due to how it is set.

Super sturdy setting. Some nicks and scratches to the gold made notable by the mirrored finish. A shallow impression on each side almost like it was pinched to tighten the setting of the largest stone.

There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings. Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lighting conditions help as they serve as part of the description.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
