Dainty Purple Garnet French Antique 18k Gold Pendant Minimalist Glowing Victorian Pink Red Open Back Crimped Bezel Bracelet Charm

This cutie patootie came from a broken stick pin. As such the stone was very lightly worn. So I converted it to a charm / pendant. Please note the measurements!

Beautiful antique garnet charm. Glowing juicy berry pinkish reddish purple color. In the wonderful antique crimped bezel settings.

Believe me when I tell you I don't make money on these pieces.  I buy them, take them to the jeweler and add more gold and labor funds into them and then sell them at break even after fees in order to see them saved, worn and preserved from the scrap heap. : )

Found in France, it was sold to me as 18k gold and was stamped on the pin back. While the piece is French antique and garnet, it is not considered a Perpignan garnet because it doesn't have the closed foil back and rose cut method those pieces always implement, although it is always possible the stone could have come from there.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers "draw out" an example to get an idea of scale in person.

Antique Boxes, props, hooks, chains, mice : ) not included. I just laid it over my staging chain to show examples of how to wear.

MEASUREMENTS:
Weight is just 0.9gram, it measures 9.5mm to the attached loop x7.5mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The pavilion of the stone extends out the back of the bezel but that's just how it was made. No damage.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
