DATED 1904 LION Old Mine Cut Diamond Victorian ANTIQUE Locket "From Papa" Pendant 10k Gold Solid Figural

Look at the detail and patina on this gorgeous guy! Victorian antique 10k gold locket pendant with 3D lion head emerging from the lid. He has green gemstone eyes and an old mine cut diamond held in his mouth. On the back is engraved: "From Papa 3/25/04" for March 25, 1904.

No hallmarks but I purchased it from an estate jeweler who sold it to me as 10k and I tested it as well. Gorgeous antique patina like bloomed gold with rosy and glowing rich yellow gold hues.

Antique boxes, pendants / displays and any additional items in photos are not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

MEASUREMENTS:
28mm to the top of the attached loop by 24mm / nearly 1 inch wide.
Weight is 6 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

A few shallow impressions to the back that are very gradual like a ripple or reflection, no sharp dings. Super legible and a nice chunky diamond. Scratches mostly to the back.

Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, etc. that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
