ABOUT:

If you want to know my vibe, look at the picture of the three bands stacked together - flowers, gypsy geometry, old mine cut diamonds - I love stackable bands!

I purchased this one for my personal collection and kept it for about five seconds before realizing I already have a stackable seven stone band and don't need a five stone one too. : ) Darn you, tax man.

This one totals just under a carat / 0.9ctw with the five chunky old mine cuts. Classic, versatile and lovely alone or layered. And it has the added provenance of being engraved:

"W.W.B. to M.D.Y. - June 1922" With an antique 18k hallmark in between.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.  The zoom pics always make them look bigger than they are : )

MEASUREMENTS:

Size 7 1/4, slightly over but does not reach 7 1/2. The ring face is 4.6mm north to south by 16mm wide where the diamonds are set. It weighs 2.45 grams.

The center diamond is 4.3mm, the flanking two are 3.2mm and the end stones 2.7mm. It was sold to me with a total carat weight of .9 carats which aligns with my measurements as well. Exact carat weight is unknown as I would not remove them from the antique setting.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical antique diamonds with some faint inclusions. The center diamond has two silk inclusions that are slightly eye visible along one side, and some additional small pinpoint and speck inclusions that are seen only under magnification. The smaller diamonds also have some faint inclusions and a few girdle nibbles, but also seen only under magnification. For antique stones they have a nice bright, white color and a good fire and appear complete in the setting / not chipped away. They do not appear dingy or dull.

The prongs have many many years left in them making this one ready for regular wear.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )

But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Thanks so much for looking at my items!
