ABOUT:
This large scale three stone makes quite the head turner with its two tone coloring and larger old cut stones facing up over 3 carats. This one is personalized / engraved on the inside. I can't make out the one side but I can decipher the year - 1924 and I believe also "Juin" (French for June).

The stones are old cuts with large frosted girdles and open culets. They were sold to me as synthetic stones but they aren't testing on a gem tester for me so they must be paste? I bought it for the great antique look to the setting and the fun pops of color in a unique combination. I can see a sort of halo crease around the center so I wondered if it was some unique sort of doublet or if that just occurred from age but I love the color of the piece and the ornate crown like pronged settings.

Nice finger coverage running about an inch north south on the hand, I've been wearing it as a power pointer which is my preferred spot for bigger rings and the linear design seems to suit well there.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 7 3/4
Weight 5.4g
Ring face is 24mm north south by 6mm tall off the finger. Each of the old cut stones are about 7mm give or take, the center stone is the largest, so they face up at over a carat each to give you an idea of scale.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
As mentioned there is a crease halo around two of the stones - I've never seen this before. Must be the result of age or heat? It is only slightly eye visible and rounds around the table of the two stones, occurring within the stone but carrying up to the surface almost like a natural inclusion. The stones are definitely still stable, not at risk of breaking apart and the prongs are secure for regular wear, but I noticed the oddity under magnification as something I've not seen before. The rich hues to the piece do help mask it and the stones still have a nice sheen and polish so it is still fun to wear. There are a few nibbles and facet abrasions and one larger crease to the red stone with the halo but again they still shine and sparkle. The setting especially has a great antique look.

Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
