ABOUT:
This would be high on my keep list for personal collection if I was buying for myself - I love old cut diamonds, a cobblestone texture and I love geometry in my jewelry so this is a fun one.

This rectangular antique stacker ring holds 12 diamonds in a lozenge or panel for a great geometry and wonderful antique sparkle. The diamonds are old mine cut diamonds with one Peruzzi cut in the corner.

Nice sparkle and geometric design for a ring stack.

Found in France. Faintest French hallmark for 14k gold on the back. The ring face is topped in platinum.

Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6, the ring face is about 10x13mm. It stands 4mm tall off the finger. The piece weighs 3.3 grams.

Each diamond measures 2.6mm give or take with chunky cuts to most of them for a total carat weight of around 1 carat.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The underside of the platform inside the ring face has a blunt edge from wear. It's possible a jeweler could soften this. It isn't uncomfortable for me to wear but I noticed it when putting on and off the finger so something to keep in mind.

Varying slightest warmth to the antique stones, one in the corner appears warmer but it's just a bit of stubborn buildup behind. I gave it a light cleaning but it could use another gentle soak. I just try not to over clean my antiques with multiple small stones. Typical for antique diamonds, there are some small faint frosty inclusions, they are not eye visible to me. One stone has two indented natural inclusions leaving an unpolished crease at the surface of the facet in two places. GIA defines this as a dent that occurs under the surface of a diamond as a result of the diamond cutter's decision not to polish it off, because doing so could end up harming the diamond so the cutters would work around it - this is not considered a defect or blemish but under strong magnification it looks like a frosty speck. No dark or glaring carbon spots. An excellent texture. No damage to any stones.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Thanks so much for looking at my items!
