ABOUT:
Larger sparkly footprint to this oval halo ring. This piece is in a warm rosy 14k gold topped in platinum (as was customary for the time to set diamonds in a white metal) with milgrain details.
The piece uses 27 old mine, old single cut and old European cut diamonds totaling around .9 carat according to the reputable source in Europe that I purchased this from.
Faint hallmark for 585 inside the shank, which is the numerical hallmarking system used in Europe, in this case 14k gold.
Antique box is not included.
Typical antique diamonds with some natural inclusions but seen only under magnification, no dark carbon spots. A few tiny nicks again not eye visible. A few spots where the metal has a darker patina, in one area it looks like solder. Still a lovely sparkle and bright white coloring - You should be able to see the areas that read a bit darker in some of the pics, it is more noticeable in some lighting than in others.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 8 1/4. Ring face is 20mm north to south by 11mm. The largest center diamonds are about 3mm each to give you an idea of scale. It weighs 3.7grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
