ABOUT:
Can't how old this beauty is with the custom old cut heart shaped garnets! Beautiful coloring and form to this romantic piece that adds a gorgeous show of color, unique design and ornateness to a ring stack. Late Georgian to early Victorian era piece with closed back.

Also has the 360 degree engraved shank which is such a lovely detail found on some British Victorian period pieces. I love finding it. Makes a piece even more beautiful from all angles.

Aside from the old cut hearts which are a beautiful purple in color, the piece has four seafoam blue-ish green accent stones surrounding a center pearl. I think they are some variety of beryl (emerald family) but they aren't as green as an emerald. Almost appears more like an aquamarine but doesn't test as high.

Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

MEASUREMENTS:

Size 6 3/4. 9.3mm north south at the ring face. It weighs just 2.1g.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
There is buildup around the stones but with the closed back, we don't get these wet. Each of the heart cuts have chips to the tips / outside edges but they still appear heart shaped with normal wear. Some deeper scratches and inclusions to the natural garnets. One of the beryl gems has loss to the outside edge but they are very small. One of the heart cuts has a lot of wear to the prongs and is held in place with adhesive. This could be re-tipped if desired but the pearl is probably held with adhesive as well and always was so, as that was the customary fabrication so this one is more for gentler wear and shouldn't get wet or be soaked. Wonderful design and color combination.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
