EMERALD HEART Cut French Vintage Diamond Halo Large Green Figural Ring Stacker 18k Gold

ABOUT:

A bold figural ring with true green color, sparkle and a nice size footprint on the hand. Found in Paris, this vintage ring features a custom heart cut natural emerald which is surrounded by a halo of brilliant cut diamonds.

Raised on a platform with little diamond accents at each side of the forked shoulders, this attention grabbing piece is so fun and whimsical!

French hallmark for 18k gold to the reeded shank.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7
The ring face is 17mm north south and 6mm tall off the finger.
The diamonds are about 1.7mm each with 19 of them.
The emerald is about 10mm wide and tall.
Weight: 6.1g.

CONDITION NOTES:

Typical surface wear and faint abrasions to the table facets of the emerald but overall a nice sheen and polish with a lovely color, you have to study the surface in a reflection to pick them up but it does have some little nibbles. Natural inclusions within but a wonderful emerald green color giving life to the term. The stone moves a bit in the bezel but is secure. The back of the stone protrudes a bit further than the setting, making contact with the finger but it is smoothed in that pavilion faceting so I didn't it uncomfortable to wear. Setting can be a bit blunt around the edges.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
