ABOUT:
Geometry, color and sparkle! A unique and interesting double row / linear ring with a row of square cut natural emeralds in a bypass setting with a contrasting row of single cut diamonds.
Looking at the hallmarks it's an older piece - with the geometry, probably early Vintage to very late antique period Art Deco.
Makes a fun stacker or an interesting pinky ring.
Worn hallmarks inside along with a serial number and a 585 stamp which is the numerical hallmark used in Europe for 14k gold.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It is a size 5, slightly over. May be a candidate for sizing as the prongs are good but best to discuss with the person doing the work to determine their comfort level. It weighs 3.4 grams.
Ring face is 7.3mm north south.
It stands 4.1mm tall off the finger to the peaked part of the diamond band.
The emeralds are 3.2mm square.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Natural variations to the emeralds with some faint inclusions. Some surface wear but overall nice sheen and polish.
Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
