Eye Clean Antique Old Mine Cut DIAMOND Bright White Solitaire in Vintage Bezel Setting 18k Rose Gold Chunky Stacker Minimalist Engagement

Back from my summer inventory trips to several countries / cities in Europe. I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

Let me tell you I wooooore this ring!
I put it on my finger with my dainty Georgian wedding set that I wear when I travel and I never took it off again the rest of the trip. The rose gold of this later setting matched perfectly with the antique rosy patina of what I was wearing so they ended up making a lovely stack.

What amazed me about it is the bright whiteness of the xx carat diamond. Often times in taller bezel settings like this, it can affect the vibrancy or reflectivity of the stone (compared to a prong setting where the stone is propped up to catch the light on all sides and into the pavilion) but this diamond really pops. A striking bright white color and it's eye clean! With a nice chunky cut / high crown, it's everything you love to see in an antique stone (unless you also favor warm to pale yellow and included / imperfect antique diamonds too... like me! : )

Super comfortable to wear, sturdy later rose gold setting which serves as the perfect highlight for that bright and chunky old mine cut diamond. The inside of the bezel is curved to provide comfort instead of a blunt edge against the finger.

Love love love and being a later setting to house the antique diamond, it is ready for regular wear.

Antique boxes, props, mice, dishes ; ) not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:

Size 5
The diamond is about 5.5mm, just measuring the exposed portion, widening an unknown amount in the bezel which encompasses the girdle edge all the way around. I do not remove stones from settings for exact measurements but estimates to around .55 carat.

Ring face is 6.7mm north to south and 4.2mm off the finger. It weighs 4.3 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

An excellent antique diamond with no damage or eye visible inclusions, just the tiniest specks under strong magnification. Bright white in color.
One area of the bezel is a tiny bit uneven from wear but the stone is well held, surrounded on all sides and does not move.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
