ABOUT:
Another timeless classic - a one carat bezel set old mine cut diamond pendant. Super versatile, you can add it to a bracelet chain, a neckstack, even run it onto an ear wire to wear as an earring. The diamond is antique / old cut, And it is Eye Clean and with a nice fire! Which we love to find in these older stones. The setting may be later, from the Vintage to Art Deco period. Usually we see more prong settings for the Victorian era ones. I have a pair of earrings that these match well with.
Found in France with their hallmarks for 18k gold on the loop and a goldsmith stamp.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
The diamond is about 6mm but a chunky cut, almost extending beyond the bezel. It's a little over one carat - this is an estimate as I would not remove it for exact weight and I can't get exact measurements in the bezel.
The pendant in bezel setting is 8.2mm in diameter and 4.5mm deep off the decollette.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The diamond is eye clean with no damage, even under magnification I don't see any inclusions. Set very sturdily in the chunky bezel. A nice white sparkle to the diamond.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
