ABOUT:
I recently took an inventory trip to France and purchased several vintage and antique chains. In solid 18k gold, they are beautiful to layer and stack, and also make an interesting minimalist or geometric statement worn alone.
Beautiful French antique necklace in 18k yellow gold. Long diamond shaped links with open work squiggles in the center alternate with cable chain links all the way around the chain. Beautiful movement, the French made many iterations of interesting link chains in the early 1900s Art Nouveau to Art Deco / Belle Epoque period. Really beautiful buttery patina and striking design.

Any props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 8.2 grams. Measures 23.5 inches stretched end to end. The diamond shaped links are 11mm long without the loops.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The spring ring is not springy. It opens to insert the loop but has to be pressed closed. Once closed it stays closed, it did not unfasten while handling, but it may need a replacement spring ring if desired.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
