I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
I usually source and sell older pieces but I love diamonds with hues and thought these cuties were nice daily wearers so even though they are newer vintage, I went for them. These are super fiery, really shooting out the sparkles which is always fun to find! Please note the measurements! They always smaller than they appear in the zoom photos which I am required to show.
Beautiful champagne hue to the brilliant cut diamonds in a simple pronged setting that really just allow the stones to float on the ear. Set in 18k white gold which we often see with stones with hues, in order to provide contrast. Then push backs are just rubber stoppers, I assume for comfort. They came this way so I am selling them as is, although replacement push backs can be found at any modern jeweler or can be swapped out with other backs in your earring box.
Found in France. The posts are hallmarked for 18k gold.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos with the zoom pictures I am required to present.
MEASUREMENTS:
The diamonds are each about 4.2mm, not super chunky cuts in this case but they were sold to me at about .3 carat each for a total weight of 0.6 carat. May be a bit smaller using typical measurements by millimeter but I would not remove them to be sure, they do have girdles on the somewhat larger size.
The pair weighs just 0.6 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Mostly eye clean. One has a natural needle inclusion that is slightly eye visible if it catches the light and you are seeking it out. The other just has tiny specks seen under magnification.
The hue can be subtle in some lights, and seems to vary appearing more warm to white in some lights, this is something I love about colored diamonds. Hopefully the pics in all lighting conditions help. I like the group shots for comparison.
Settings are in excellent condition ready for regular wear.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
