I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:
I seek out antique five stones in all shapes and sizes due to their versatile stackability. This one has an ornate scrolled mount but with a larger old mine cut diamond at the center flanked by smaller antique diamonds that graduate down. The stones are slightly raised above the scrolled shoulder detail on the vertical edges so it has a lovely bit of height for stacking.

This one was reinforced before I acquired it so it is ready for daily wear as sturdy prongs were added to the north and south edges of each stone to hold them all firmly in place for another 100 years.

Found in the UK, it has worn hallmark stamps for 18k, Birmingham and if I had to guess, the date stamp for 1912. It's difficult to make out the letter so the 1912 would be the newest it would be, and possibly older.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 8, slightly snug
Diamond: The center old cut is about 5.2mm and about .46 carat alone, the adjacent stones are 3.8mm and 2.9mm on each side. I do not remove stones from antique settings so exact depths and thereby carat weight is unknown estimates to just over 1 carat total weight in diamonds.
Ring face: 5.9mm north south
Height off finger: 4.4mm tall.
Weight: 3.5g.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

As mentioned the settings were reinforced so you can see a bit of softening to the vertical edges by the prongs where gold was added, but the engraved details at the shoulder are intact and original. Ready for daily wear now.

The center stone is eye clean but has a very thick frosted girdle (which it should as it was cut before modern polishing techniques) and that can sometimes reflect around the stone where you see a frosty halo when looking through it. Not a clarity issue, just how the stone was cut. The others have some faint frosty inclusions typical for antique diamonds cut in much more limited supply. Slightly eye visible, one of the smallest stones appearing quite frosty throughout when studying it under magnification. But while wearing they all appear well matching, bright and lively. No damage to any of the stones.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
