I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:

Beautiful Victorian to Edwardian antique Old Mine Cut five stone diamond ring in 18k gold set in a belcher / buttercup mount setting. Lovely sparkle and that delicious antique 18k gold setting. A sweetie for stacking in the timeless and sought after antique five stone form totaling almost half a carat.

British hallmarks for 18k, London. The date later is partially worn but it is an antique hallmark from the late 1800s to very early 1900s.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size: 4 3/4
Diamond: The old mine cuts are about 2.4 to 31mm each, graduating just slightly down in size from the center, with the ring totaling just under half a carat / 0.45 carat.
Ring face: 44mm north south
Height off finger: 3.4mm tall.
Weight: 2.2g.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Under magnification the diamonds have natural frosty inclusions typical for antique diamonds which can't really be graded using modern day standards for machine cut stones. The smallest stone on the end is the most prevalent while the others are more slightly included. These are not glaringly visible as the stones are small and the diamonds are still bright and lively but two do appear quite frosty throughout under magnification.

Setting is worn as is typical for gold rings of this age. A worn back prong here and there, the ones at each end are worn back and a few others but all the stones have the remaining prongs with enough length to hold them - something to keep an eye on over time.

Very sweet piece from a very special era. I enjoy making my customers happy and matching unique pieces with new homes. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! It means a lot to me that you are visiting my shop! : )

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
