ABOUT:

This one would be an awesome pendant conversion with a chain attached to each end or each little collet set garnet could make an awesome charm if loops were to be added - but I love the striking color of the piece as a whole so I decided to sell it as is for the brooch wearer's out there!

Five glowing purplish antique flat cut garnets in domed closed back collet settings affixed to a linear bar brooch. Stamped 9CT for 9k Gold. Found in France, also has their symbol hallmark for 9k gold although I suspect it is British in origin.

Listing is for the one item in the cover photo, while the group shot helps to show scale and shows some of the other pieces I have available.

Antique props, etc. not included but the chain is included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it is difficult to show scale in the photos with the zoom that is required for detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
Weight: 3.3 grams
Height/width: 48mm end to end, the largest garnet is 9mm oval.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Some solder spots from the original fabrication and patina on the back. One stone has some nicks, likely from the natural inclusions carrying to the surface but for the most part the stones are in better than most condition with very little surface wear, a wonderful color sheen and polish. Some varying hues to the natural stones.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
