Another personal collection release, and one of the best I've seen or handled, but I went through my bits and bobs and had to find some to part with!

Ever popular split ring - useful for building your neckmess. These of course come in various sizes, this one is larger sized at 22mm in diameter / a size 7 1/4 ring size. So I actually wore it as a ring on my finger, as I loved its ornate embossed details and its donut shape with smooth comfort fit interior. It stacks wonderfully with other gold bands or diamond/gem half hoops or eternities. The vertical edges are beautifully ornate so it is fun to view from all angles.

The great thing about this one is how tight the split is. It doesn't open all the way around, rather acts as sort of a clasp with one small section clicking open and then snapping shut (see pics). Often times we see antique split rings with a gap from opening and closing over the past 100-200 years, where a visible gap remains or a large seam when worn. But this one is crafted where you pull it apart and then pry to click it open and then its own tension snaps itself shut tightly when you squeeze both sides. This antique split ring is unmarked, crafted in 14k yellow gold with some antique patina especially in the recesses which we love to find as it helps accent those gorgeous swirling details.

Beautiful on a chain alone as a pendant, as a connector / extender, on the finger, or holding a collection of pendants or charms super securely.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers "draw out" an example to get an idea of scale in person.

Antique Boxes, props, chains, mice : ) not included. I just laid it over my staging chain to show examples of how to wear.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Surface wear but one of the better ones I've handled. It does take some tactile strength to open. I had to use my fingernail or a small tool to get it to pry open so note that it is tight and takes some doing to open it, but again this makes it sought after as the seam then becomes invisible and it closes super securely.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
