ABOUT:
Delicious gold work and interesting setting with the domed circular face set with four rose cut diamonds. This Victorian era ring is crafted in 10k tricolor gold with the setting in yellow gold but with rose gold floral and green gold fan accents. Small size makes an awesome pinky ring with just so many fun elements.
The gorgeous rose cut garnets have a deep crimson color that glow a more vibrant red from within each stone. They are open backed in the setting.
I purchased the piece at a jewelry store in Wisconsin near where I grew up, while accompanying my husband on a work trip and between visiting my cousins : ). I always seek out antiques even when traveling for fun or on vacation and this one was a pleasant surprise. I purchased several pieces from that store.
Antique box used for staging is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
No hallmarks remain, sold to me as 10k.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 2 3/4, just a little over. It weighs 3.1g. The ring face is 14.7mm north south and 5.3mm tall. The garnets are each about 4mm.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The interior points of the green fan accents vary somewhat with how they are welded but I think this was done in the fabrication?
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still wearable.
